As a youngster, I spent a great deal of time in my grandmothers flea market where I learnt to knit, crochet, sew and I developed an appreciation for vintage items. My grandmother provides me with many raw materials, vintage yarn, re-claimed fabric and craft supply cast offs. I work primarily in textiles, film and sculpture.
Recently, my work was shown at the University of Lethbridge, in Snap, crackle, pop, a beautiful catalog produced and it is available from the University of lethbridge Art Gallery. I participated in a Gushul Residency in 2007, organized by Trap\door Artist run centre. I have show my work in Vancover at Gallery gachet, Calgary at the New galley, Saskatoon at the Gordon snelgrove, PAVEDarts and Toronto with the City of Craft.
I also worked for PAVED arts in Saskatoon as Assistant Curator. At the Galt Museum and Archives and the Southren Alberta Art Gallery in (SAAG). In various capacities.
